Amazing Firearms Available at NRA-ILA Auction in Louisville

What would it be like to own the one millionth Browning Citori? Or how about an exact replica of Davy Crockett’s first rifle? Or a double rifle just like those used by legendary big game hunters from the golden era of African safaris?

All those amazing firearms, and more, will be available at the Second Annual NRA-ILA Dinner and Auction, dedicated to “Investing in our Firearms Future.” The auction will be held in conjunction with the 137th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Louisville, Ky.

Browning has generously donated the one millionth Browning Citori, and it is like no other Citori ever made. Truly a masterpiece in the art of gunmaking, this one-of-a-kind over-under has a highly polished blued steel receiver that features 24k gold hand engraved inlays in an intricate commemorative design. A special custom made hard case will accompany the one millionth Citori, with special engraved gold plate indicating the gun’s unique nature. This will certainly become a prized part of a fine gun collection.

Another unique and amazing firearm to be offered at the auction is from Caywood Gunmakers, who have donated an exact replica of Crockett's rifle: “The Caywood Crockett.” The Crockett has a 46-inch, .48 caliber barrel and is fitted with precision, double-lever, double-set triggers. It features a premium curly maple stock that has been superbly inletted to exactly fit the flintlock action. The stock has a combination of relief and incised carving running its full length, copied in exact detail from Crockett’s rifle. The four piece brass patch box hides a sterling silver plate inscribed “David Crockett—Freedom Fighter” and is individually numbered for this special, limited-edition collector's firearm. This fully functional flintlock also comes with an exquisite, hand-made hunter’s bag with powder horns, double-bitted belt ax, knife, ball mold, screwdriver and additional accoutrements.

Among the many other firearms that will be offered at the event will be a John Rigby & Co. .416 Rigby African Express bolt action rifle and a Krieghoff double gun with .500/.416 rifle barrels and 20 gauge shotgun barrels.

NRA-ILA would like to thank Browning, Caywood, John Rigby & Co, Krieghoff, Taurus, Nosler, Beretta, Remington, Marlin and other contributors for their generous donations, and for their support for ILA’s legislative and political activity in support of our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage.
